For the Real Dads:

I feel almost ashamed to be a female sometimes.  The way that some woman use their gender to get things that they want and manipulate people is disgusting.  The examples I've seen lately are some of the saddest things I've witnessed.

I just want to stress  how stupid it is that a lot of people think that the mother is a better parent then the father.  

I've been close to two situations where the fathers ARE the better parent, yet are being treated like they have no right to a  relationship with their children and are worthless.  In both cases the mother is abusive, manipulative, and neglectful.  The fathers are the ones that take care of them, and care about them, and try to get them ready for the real world.  No matter what the children say, or what others around them say, the court system usually takes the mother's side.  Why?  Why does her being a female make abuse and neglect ok?

Why should men be viewed as not a full parent and denied full custodial rights?  

One of these men is fighting for custody, and not only does he not get his equal time, he has to pay child support.  But it's not because he doesn't want the time with the kids.  She has no job (she can't hold one down more than a few months) and she's literally had her kids taken somewhere else when he went to pick them up.  Police were called, yet, nothing happened.  Police have been called on her many times because the kids were getting abused there.

The other woman is nothing more then a drunk.  She drinks all morning and passes out.  Then leaves for work, which leaves her two kids at home.  The older one has an extreme case of Autism, and he's violent.  he punches and sits on his little sister.  His mother fills his head with lies about his father.  When denied something he is not hesitant about trying to pull a knife on them.  But of course, he learned his behavior from his mom who recently stabbed his dad.  She drives drunk with them all the time, no seat belts or car seats of course, and has no problem leaving them at home at night by themselves.

These men should not have to be afraid to speak up about what's going on, simply because it can be turned on him so easily or denied the right to see their children.

Dads deserve so much more credit.  I wish more people would take the right side, and listen to the facts.  I wish the courts wouldn't be so pig headed.

Just because she gave birth, doesn't mean she's a true parent.

Saxophone Player Attacked at Summerfest

This is a perfect example of the double standard going around. The three woman that attacked Cassandra attacked her because she was white. Only one woman was charged with Assault and Battery, the other two were only charged for disorderly conduct. I'm just wondering how much more lenient with hate crimes, when targeted towards somebody that is white, they are going to get. A lot of people think that things are still not equal between races, and they are totally right. But the balance scale has tipped to the other side. It's only racism if shown by somebody white. This is a prime example. Where I went to school,this problem was everywhere. Black kids would call each other the n word, so a white kid that was close to them said it, his friends didn't say anything, but someone who overheard did. The other student had to talk to the teacher and I think the principal. I was called 'cracker' numerous times. People thought it was funny. Nobody thought it offensive. I kind of did, but I didn't want to start anything. My brother was targeted all the time. Someone even hacked into his account on some learning community site and decorated his page with white supremacist images and logos. He almost got in trouble for it. When they found out it wasn't him, it was just dropped. They didn't try to find out who did it. Things aren't equal. Especially in Milwaukee Public Schools, where they only enforce this mind set for the future.
